Birds Watching
Bird watching, or birding, is an increasingly popular hobby in many parts of the world. Armed with a pair of binoculars and a field guide, birdwatchers can observe and identify many types of the birds. Acute listening is one of the best ways to identify birds especially those hidden by dense foliage or who look similar to each other, and those that are faraway or birds at night. In fact, when biologists count birds in the field, the majority of the species they recorded are heard rather than seen.
