Haikou Eco-Heritage Trail
OVERVIEW
Summary
Mission Hills Resort Haikou lies in the volcanic region of exotic Hainan Island, China. Nestled amid lush, green gardens, each championship golf courses incorporates innovative native lava rock formations that offer a "golfing on the moon" experience. In 2012, Guinness World Records accredited Mission Hills Resort Haikou as the "World's Largest Spa & Mineral Springs Resort". The resort has also been named "Golf Resort of the Year" and a National Low-carbon Tourism Demonstration Area. The Eco Heritage Trail and Eco- Gallery in Haikou are part of Mission Hills' initiatives to promote sustainable tourism and environmental best practice to resort visitors.
Location
The Eco-Heritage Trail follows along the edge of holes no. 3 and 7 of the Blackstone Course and is within 60 meters walking distance off the Eco-Gallery.
Length
The 1 kilometer circle trail takes about 45 minutes to complete.
